“Witty, Imaginative and more than a little risque”

Middle aged woman bent double laughing

Hot new talent: hot flush body

Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Nominee 2022, Funny Women Semi-Finalist (2017), Stand Up for Cider Finalist and stalwart of the thriving Bristol comedy scene, Louise Leigh is proof that a midlife crisis doesn’t have to involve a motorbike and a Victoria’s Secret model.

She’s performed at The Savoy Theatre (Monmouth), the Palladium (Bideford) and the Bristol Hippodrome (the actual big massive theatre, actually). In 2019, she took her first hour of comedy Louise Leigh Identifiable to Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and got a 4 star review from the Wee Review and was listed as one of the top shows to see on the Free Fringe, alongside legends like Janey Godley.

In 2022, she’s working on a new show which currently seems to be called A Bloke Called Graeme.

A pair of bright yellow doors, with windows in. Through the windows we can see Pauline Eyre and Louise Leigh, both turning round to look cheekily to camera. Very much like looking at your mum and her naughty cousin

Podcast

Louise makes a podcast with fellow midlife woman comic, Pauline Eyre. Together, they use a magical time-travelling salad spinner to offer their guests the chance to choose to live in a different dimension. Guests include: Comedians Angela Barnes, Felicity Ward, John Robertson, Internet sensation of 2021 Jackie Weaver and Eastenders and Bad Girls actor, Simone Lahbib like you’ve never heard her before. Comedian’s Comedian Podcaster Stuart Goldsmith described it as “dynamite!”

“Whenever I interact with humans, I’m going to try to make them laugh. It’s a gift and a curse” —Louise
